[DTRASH129] PHALLUS ÜBER ALLES - Five Fingers Make A Fist BOX SET

D-TRASH Records is pleased to announce the release of "Five Fingers Make A Fist" box set, from Detroit's PHALLUS ÜBER ALLES.

Longtime advocates of feminism-fuelled digital hardcore punk sounds, the group began their struggle, in order to question "not only the cultural perception that women are somehow less capable than men, but also turns a critical eye toward the female behavior that propagates that mis-conception."

They released their furious debut "Iron Woman" on ATARI TEENAGE RIOT's Hanin Elias' pet-label FATAL RECORDINGS, later joining up with D-TRASH to release an EP of remixes of this material as well as new tracks. The band at once became a vital part of the D-TRASH roster, performing at every D-TRASH Records Fest concerts (2006, 2008, 2010) as well as providing unbelievable remixes for HANSEL, THE PHOERON and other label projects.

Last year in 2009, PÜA started releasing a series of online EPs containing more new material and remixes, a 5 part series entitled "Five Fingers Make A Fist". These albums contained more revisitations of "Iron Woman" material, their cover from D-TRASH's 2007 ATARI TEENAGE RIOT tribute, as well as a new song from upcoming release "Le Femme Terrible". To date, these EPs have netted over 10,000(!) downloads from the www.dtrashrecords.com site.

"This album is one of the latest deliveries from D-Trash Records. The two members of Mind Disruption, Gunter (vocals) and Richard (production/guitar/synth), serve up 60 minutes of rough and rowdy digital hardcore. This album comes out the gate swinging with "Selbsthenker", a song that provides boot-stomping rhythms and harsh synths amidst distorted vocals. It is followed by "Bis Einer Heult", which lures you in with spacious synths and then sucker punches you with frantic drums and guitar. "The Void" introduces the first clean vocals in English with the tried and true verse/chorus format. "Voodoo" is a standout song that enters with anthem synths and hard kicks. It lacks the chaos of the other tracks while delivering a moving dance floor success. "Totes Fleisch" sets the pace with soaring synths overlaid with shimmering harps before slamming into a whirlwind of distorted drums and suicide verses... "Lichtbringer" and "Things You Hide" prove to be more dance floor anthems with light synths over well-placed samples and face-kicking drums. "Im Letzten Jahrtausend" begins as an incredible experiment in noise but switches gears for a driving barrage of low bass synths and rolling, distorted vocals... A few of the songs on this album seem to teeter on the brink of train wreck while others successfully get your foot tapping. "Fuck Yeah!" is sure to go over well with fans of the genre..." -CONNEXIONBIZARRE.NET

[DTRASH121] MIND DISRUPTION - Fuck Yeah

[DTRASH121] MIND DISRUPTION - Fuck Yeah
German duo MIND DISRUPTION gives us another full-length, rumoured to be their last? - An 18!-song disc that pulses in overdriven misanthropic industrial noisebeat-metal. Guitars pin down the listener, who falls helpless to the ringing synths, shrieking grunts, and grinding suicidal thuds of rhythmic darkwave thrashings... ones that would make predecessors SKINNY PUPPY proud.
